Welcome
The Santa Ynez Valley Pistol & Bow Club is located just two miles north of Buellton, California on Jonata Park Road adjacent to the 101 freeway. The club consists of 25 acres of rolling terrain dotted with oak and pine trees, split by the beautiful Zaca Creek.
The Club was first organized in 1966 by a small group of shooters who purchased the land from the County of Santa Barbara. Only a small portion of the land was being used for shooting so they gladly said yes when an archery group later asked to build a wolrd-class archery course on the unused portion.
The Club is operated solely by the amazing members who volunteer their time to maintain the property and run the clubs. There are no paid employees.
A Bit of History
Fire Station 31 used to be in our current location. The history for Station 31 goes back to 1932 when the County of Santa Barbara purchased the property from Glenn Buell for $3,750.00 and later built what was to become the Jonata Park Fire Station (Station 3).
